Bioware Boss Teased New IP While No One Noticed

Bioware’s Creative Director Alistair McNally recently teased that the Canadian based game developer is currently in works on a brand new IP, albeit in a quite unusual manner.

During this year’s GDC, Alistair McNally recently tweeted about how we was wearing a t-shirt for said new IP, and that no one had reacted to it whatsoever.

This has caused fans to look for any photos of McNally wearing said t-shirt, but their searches have so far bore no fruit. There is an image circulating of some folks wearing “Bull’s Chargers” t-shits, hinting towards a spinoff focused on Iron Bull from Dragon Age: Inquisition, however we’ve verified these do not include Alistair.

It might be a while before we hear any news regarding their new IP, as Bioware are currently busy developing Mass Effect: Andromeda, which was recently delayed to an early 2017 release date.

I dunno if they should be working on a new IP since it seems like everyone is leaving, and all signs point to development of Andromeda not going very smoothly.

It only shows how people think about Bioware if no one noticed this. We all know how this will end.

Honestly if it’s a pre quel or standalone game about Iron Bull I’m all for it. He’s pretty much the only decent new character in Dragon Age Inquisition who doesn’t want me to rip my ears off…

A new IP would be cool. I hope it doesn’t involve anyone from the ME or DA team though. New blood would be nice to see.

problem is as they finally settled into decent third person game mechanics the writing fell through the floor.
At this point I am after dominantly killer content, there are already to many games trying to take up months of my gaming time for a load of filler between interesting plots.

We should theorize on what it could be.

My guess is that it’s an action-rpg (with heavy emphasis on action) set in an Edwardian steampunk world where you play a bland voiced Chosen One whose personality is limited to a binary Nice Guy/Asshole that hits on everyone even when you don’t intend for them to. As Steampunk Jesus, you’ll be destined to defeat an overwhelming evil army whose motives will radically shift depending on the necessity of the story. An Evil White Male will be their semi-offical spokesman.

To aid you in your quest, you’ll be teamed with a bisexual socially progressive aristocratic character, a bisexual socially progressive eccentric intelligent character, a transsexual bisexual socially progressive roguish character, a socially progressive bisexual angry minority person, and a socially progressive pansexual otherkin justice crusader. You can romance all of them by exchanging five lines of dialog, then jumping into the sack.

Finally. They’ll risk making a new Marxist IP that will fail instead of corrupting already existing ones to their destruction.

Well, they’ve basically given the PC and old-school fans the “time for you to go”-signal. Personally I used to be the biggest Bioware fan of them all, but it seems to me they’ve chosen a different route to hit a different demographic.

Wish I knew what Bioware has done to kill interest in their games this badly.
Then again the Bioware game I’ve played was their Sonic game and that was… average at best.

In the character creation part of the Steven Universe Online game you can only add large breasts/ass on fat characters. You want C-sized breasts on your Crystal Gem? She has to weight at least 250 pounds.
