On the Metal is a developer based out of Sheffield, England. They’re making a Vita game that is definitely something more unique from what we’ve been seeing lately on the platform, and it’s definitely a cool idea in my opinion.
Their new game is called BigFest, in the game you play the role of a promoter that helps push real unsigned bands in festivals that you build yourself. Think of it as one of those Tycoon games, but for live concerts.

The game’s core concept is music your way, meaning you can go through a huge online music catalogue and choose what genres of music you want to have playing at your festivals. This online library of music will be regularly updated, to this opens the door to potential DLC for new music.
The game does have a multiplayer component of sorts, you’ll be able to visit your friends festivals and see how they’re doing and even rate them as well! The better your festivals do, naturally more people will come and the more popular the bands you promote will become.
