Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition leaked by ESRB

Beyond Good & Evil

The Electronic Software Ratings Board (ESRB) seems to have leaked an upcoming Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition.

One eagle-eyed Twitter user noticed the fresh posting on the ratings board’s website with the remake of the 2003 Ubisoft classic being given an E10 rating for ages 10 and up.

Rating Summary
This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a reporter accompanied by a pig-like companion investigating a conspiracy on the planet of Hillys. From a third-person perspective, players explore fantasy locations, take photos of evidence, solve puzzles, and fight robot and alien enemies. Combat is sometimes fast-paced, with players using melee weapons (e.g., staffs, torches) to strike stylized enemies that generally break apart or vanish into puffs of smoke. One boss battle depicts a squid-like alien stabbed in the eye, with yellow-green splatter effects.

The game is listed for release on Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The game has maintained a cult following over the past 20 years and fans are still waiting for the sequel which was announced years ago.

A release date for Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition has yet to be announced.
