It’s not unprecedented to hear a developer tease an imminent reveal for a previously unconfirmed project, however Bethesda Softworks is possibly taking the cake in a recent tease.

In a new interview with Bethesda VP Pete Hines and Tek Syndicate, we’ve learned they’re going to release a new game this year that no one outside their company knows about.

That’s literally all we have to go on for now – when pressed for more details like whether or not it’s a new IP or if it’s another port of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Hines wouldn’t comment.

It is worth noting, however, that Hines did confirm that none of their teams are working on The Elder Scrolls VI, meaning it probably won’t be anything related to that series.
