The autumn season is finally here. For the gaming industry, this means that the biggest games are just around the corner in time for the holiday season.

September kicks off the season with many young people returning to school. So hopefully these games will make the return to academics much more bearable.

Here’s our list of the top games coming in September:

The Casting of Frank Stone

Supermassive Games returns with a game set within the Dead by Daylight universe with The Casting of Frank Stone. This horror title follows a small group of aspiring filmmakers who find themselves in a life-or-death situation when they attempt to make a movie at a condemned steel mill.

In true Supermassive Games fashion, there will be many choices to be made that will control where the story goes as well as the fates for the numerous characters within the game. Along with that also comes with similar gameplay sections of puzzles and quick time events.

The Casting of Frank Stone is set to launch on September 3rd for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions creates an entire game surrounding the popular sport within the universe. Players will soar through the skies on their brooms in tough competition either solo or online in the game of Quiddditch.

All the roles presented in the books/films are present in the Chaser, Seeker, Keeper, or Beater positions. Each having their unique playstyle based on the duty performed by the positions. For those good enough, perhaps they’ll be able to snatch the elusive snitch?

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions soars onto PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) on September 3rd.

Fitness Boxing feat. Hatsune Miku

It’s time for weebs to get an exercise game of their own with Fitness Bosing feat. Hatsune Miku. The vocaloid herself is the main instructor as players stay in shape through the numerous boxing routines the series is known for.

Not to waste the collaboration, there is also a brand-new “Mixercise” mode that takes songs from previous titles as well as from the cast vocaloid library for players to box to as they feel the sweat dripping from their face!

Fitness Boxing feat. Hatsune Miku punches exclusively for Nintendo Switch on September 5th.

Astro Bot

Astro Bot is the follow-up to the popular Astro’s Playroom that aims to be bigger with numerous moments to serve as a love letter to the longtime PlayStation legacy. It takes the numerous improvements and technologies within the DuelSense controller to bring players interesting platforming gameplay.

This is meant to be developer Team Asobi’s biggest title yet and also an exciting new chapter for the franchise as a whole. Players will go through dozens of levels across six planets as they rescue bots with their newfound powers based upon animals.

Astro Bot takes to the stars exclusively on PlayStation 5 on September 6th.
