Best Pokemon Go Mega Salamence Raid Counters in 2023

Twinkling Fantasy Mega Salamence Raid

The Pokemon Go Twinkling Fantasy event introduces the Mega Salamence raid and brings back the Zekrom Raid.

From January 10th to January 16th, the Twinkling Fantasy event will take place in Pokemon Go; during the event, Fairy and Dragon-type Pokemon will spawn in abundance.

Mega Salamence will be in Mega raids until January 18th. The return of the Zekrom raid is slightly overshadowed due to the debut of Mega Salamence.

After taking down the Zekrom Raid and the Mega Salamence raid, trainers will have the opportunity to catch Zekrom and Salamence; lucky trainers will have the chance to encounter shiny variations of Salamence and Zekrom. Mega Salamence is arguably many trainers’ favorite Mega Pokemon.

In order to evolve Salamence into Mega Salamence, you will need to have enough Mega Energy; future evolutions of that Salamence will be free to evolve. Now let’s dive into the best Mega Salamence raid counters.
