Beavis and Butt-Head 2022 Movie is Bringing the Duo to Middle-Age Life

Beavis and Butt-Head 2022 Movie

Beavis and Butt-Head, King of the Hill, and cult classic movie Idiocracy creator Mike Judge recently announced a new Beavis and Butt-Head 2022 movie and more for the iconic duo.

He posted a budding partnership project with Paramount showing off some new sketch art of a much older, dumbass dastardly duo Beavis and Butt-Head – in their middle-age years. From the looks of it the Beavis and Butt-Head 2022 project will be streamed on Paramount’s streaming service Paramount+, but further details are scarce.

“Beavis and Butt-Head will be returning this year with a brand new movie and more on Paramount+,” Judge said in a tweet. “No exact date yet, but soon. They need some time to get back in shape.”

Mike mentions there is no set date yet but I for one am waiting on it with bated breath as Beavis and Butt-Head were an integral part of my teenage years in the 90s. I fondly remember first seeing it on LiquidTV, a fairly long running showcase of oddities that MTV would air in their early days of experimenting with producing more than just music videos alone.

The franchise has 8 seasons on tv total throughout the early to mid 90s with a lull from 97 to 2011, when the show was rebooted for the 8th season to a somewhat lukewarm reception thus no other seasons followed. There was one movie made, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, and it looks like Mike Judge is opting for another movie showing a middle aged Beavis and Butt-Head instead of another TV show series revival attempt.

No dates or what the project itself is named have been revealed at the time of reporting – but we’ll keep you guys posted.
