Beastars Animation Studio Orange Working on CG Remake of “Something That Might be Familiar”

Orange

Orange President and Founder Eiji Inomoto has announced that the studio’s next project may be- a CG remake of something “familiar.”

In an interview with Anime Limited during their Cloud Matsuri Online Convention (via Anime News Network), Inomoto stated that Orange was working on a CG remake of “something that might be familiar.”

The studio’s past works include Beastars, Land of the Lustrous, Monster Strike the Movie: Sora no Kanata, Dimension W, and more. Inomoto had been a CG animator long before forming Orange; working on Zoids: Chaotic Century, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

Orange was formed in 2004, and aided other studios with CG work. It was not until 2013 with Majestic Prince that they began to produce works as the lead animation studio.

What do you think, or hope, this CG remake will be? Sound off in the comments below!
