Bayonetta 3 has new optional mode that keeps her clothes on

Bayonetta 3

Hot on the heels of Bayonetta 3 getting a release date, developer PlatinumGames revealed an optional mode for people scared of digital female sexuality.

The new sequel features the new “Naive Angel Mode” that prevents the titular witch’s clothes from disappearing when she transforms – an iconic part of her entire character and design.

“For the enjoyment of more people, Bayonetta 3 features the revolutionary Naive Angel Mode,” the post reads. “By turning this mode ON, you may be able to play without awkwardness in the living room…”

Bayonetta has a number of abilities that she transforms to perform, where her outfit – which is made of her own hair – briefly disappears while she’s transforming. This new feature would keep her hair-clothes on all the time.

It’s possible PlatinumGames are making a joke (which they’ve done before), but they have posted it on their English social media as well – time will tell.

Bayonetta 3 is launching on October 28th for Nintendo Switch.
