Battlefleet Gothic: Armada Delayed to April 21, New Orks Trailer

Focus Home Interactive has announced a delay for the Tindalos Interactive-developed Warhammer 40K real-time-strategy, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada.

The upcoming RTS was set for a release this month, however as the end of the month approached, the publisher decided to delay the game another month, to April 21st. When the game does launch, it’ll be available for PC, via Steam.

“It’s a huge pleasure for a young studio like ours to see Battlefleet Gothic gather so much interest from so many players. The beta has been incredibly helpful in spotting relevant demands from the community,” said Tindalos Interactive Creative Director Romain Clavier. “Following this huge response we’ve made the decision to spend some additional time integrating your feedback into the game.”

The Orks are quite different to their competition, right down to how they construct their ships. The above video gives us a look at their massive, imposing capital ship – which is designed to get more up close and personal, literally. They ram it into an enemy capital ship, smashing it to pieces.

“This faction will turn your Battlefleet Gothic: Armada experience upside-down, with a totally different, more brutal style of gameplay,” Clavier said. The Ork faction will be added to the ongoing beta test “in the coming days.”

Finally, another faction will be announced soon, and just like the Space Marines, they’ll be offered free to anyone who pre-orders the game or purchases it within two months of release.
