Battle the Cold Grip of Death by Racing in Coffin Dodgers

Believe it or not, the common euphemism “codger” which lots of people tend to use for old people, is not derivative of coffin dodger, which many people attribute for the aforementioned term “codger.” Cadger and codger both have origins in Britain, where they were primarily used to describe beggars, or nasty folk. Later the phrase “old codger” came about in literature, thus creating a new use for it.

Anyway, the reason why I’m talking about this and giving you dear readers English lessons is because of the game of the very same name, Coffin Dodgers. Currently up on Kickstarter, the wacky and comedy filled game looks straight out of something Pixar would have done for a movie. In fact, that’s what the team at Milky Tea are trying to go after – a whimsical, colorful, and fun racer filled with the characters reminiscent of the movie Up.

Featured above, you can check out the game’s debut trailer, as well as the various members of the team at Milky Tea talking about what makes the same so special. They’ve already put out some excellent games, but Coffin Dodgers is clearly a step above their previous outings.

Milky Tea is looking for £65,000 and they’re still kind of low as far as current earnings go. If you’re interested in Coffin Dodgers, head on over to their Kickstarter campaign.
