Dying Light: Bad Blood, a Battle Royale spin-off of Techland’s Dying Light series, has just hit Early Access via Steam.
Bad Blood takes the same parkour mechanics and melee-focused combat as the original Dying Light and places it in a competitive Battle Royale format where 12 players are dropped into a zombie-infested zone. Besides just murdering the opposition, players will have to destroy hives and gather blood samples to level up. You can find the launch trailer above.
Techland expects the game to be in early access until late 2018 or early 2019. The Early Access version is $19.99 and includes a Founder’s Pack that features exclusive cosmetic items, but the final release will be free-to-play.
In case you missed it, you can find our thorough hands-on preview for the game’s earlier build here from this year’s Game Developers Conference.
