The second part of Bastard!!: Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy will premiere on September 15.
The anime adaptation of the 1987 series was announced earlier this year by Netflix. The original manga is the claim to fame for creator Kazushi Hagiwara who created the series back in 1987. His other credits are solely character design credits for other works.
The second half of the season, episodes 14 – 24, will be available on Netflix on September 15, 2022!

In a post apocalyptic world of heavy metal fantasy, the only thing able to save humans from orcs, lizard men, and other monsters is something even MORE evil. While technically the series is ongoing, it has been on hiatus ever since 2010 with the release of the 27th volume. The first 12 episodes of Bastard!!: Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy are available now on Netflix.
