The second season of Bastard!!: Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy is expected to premiere on Netflix later this year according to a recent tweet.

The anime adaptation of the 1987 series was last year by Netflix. The original manga is the claim to fame for creator Kazushi Hagiwara who created the series back in 1987. His other credits are solely character design credits for other works.
