A new PV has been released for the upcoming film BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage.
BanG Dream! is a multimedia franchise that began in 2015 and was created by entertainment company Bushiroad. The company is largely known for their card and mobile games, alongside original franchises such as Tantei Opera Milky Holmes.
BanG Dream! follows Kasumi Toyama, a student at Hanasakigawa Girls’ High School. Eventually she becomes a member of the band Poppin’Party and makes friends with fellow bandmates and rivals.
As a multimedia franchise, the series has expanded beyond just the story of Kasumi Toyama and at times other characters are given the spotlight in order to appeal to a broader spectrum of fans. Especially since the release of the mobile game in 2017, fans have had time to decide on their own favorite characters through the game’s story and gacha system.

The film is a sequel to the first FILM LIVE movie which premiered in September of 2019. The upcoming film is expected to premiere in August of this year.
