Bandai Namco launches indie games label GYAAR Studio, a new publishing brand focused at bringing in new staff by encouraging them to pitch and discuss new game ideas freely.

The first game to be published under GYAAR Studio is the previously announced Survival Quiz CITY game for PC, which is being published by Phoenixx.

The name of the new label comes from the character GYAAR, the pink dinosaur creature that appears in Survival Quiz CITY. GYAAR was used as the label name and logo to help capture the initial enthusiasm and focus the team had during the creation of the game, which they want to put into future games.
