This week’s Famitsu magazine has revealed that Bandai Namco is working on a new Godzilla game, for Playstation 3.

The Godzilla in the game is based off of S.H. MonsterArts’s Tokusatsu era version of the beast (pictured above), and it’s set to release in Japan sometime this winter. The magazine describes the gameplay as mostly involving the players wrecking havoc, swinging their tails, kicking, and even using signature Godzilla moves like the heat ray.

We don’t have a price for the game, but it’s currently 40% percent complete.
