Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Kenny Sun announced BALL x PIT has topped 1,000,000 copies sold.
To celebrate the new milestone, the team announced three new content updates, free to all owners of the game, are coming in 2026.
BALL x PIT has been available for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PS5 since October 2025. Get our review here!
Here’s a rundown on the new content, plus a trailer:
The game will be getting three – that’s right, three – new content updates in 2026, free for anyone who owns the game:
- In January, raise your pinky for the Regal Update
- In April, slink into the darkness for the Shadow Update
- Then get back to basics in July with the Naturalist Update
Each update will bring:
- NEW BALLS
- NEW EVOLUTIONS
- NEW BUILDINGS
- NEW CHARACTERS
- AND MORE
