Baldur’s Gate III gets August release date, adds PS5 version

Baldur's Gate 3

Larian Studio’s latest game Baldur’s Gate III will be coming to PlayStation 5 on the same release date as the PC release.

The game has sat in Early Access for a few years at this point, but a full release for this August was announced last year.

While we knew the game was coming in August, a specific date was only just decided. It might as well be September because Baldur’s Gate III won’t be coming until August 31.

You can check out the release date reveal trailer here:

Larian has also opened pre-orders for the Deluxe Edition and a PS5 Collector’s Edition through their website.

The Collector’s Edition appears to be the same as the PC version just with a different digital key; including a Mind Flayer statue and cloth map, among other goodies.

We’re sure a lot has changed with Baldur’s Gate III in its years of development, but you can check out our hands-on preview from 2020 here.
