Baldur’s Gate 3 releases new player stats, most popular races and classes

Baldur’s Gate 3 has released a new set of infographics for player stats, including the most popular races, most popular classes, and some random facts and trivia.

Shortly after the game launched, Larian Studios released their first set of player stats. Now the game has been out for nearly four months and come to consoles with a PS5 release. Has anything significant changed?

Firstly, Half-Elf is no longer the most popular race; instead pure Elves are the most popular. This is understandable since Elves have some of the best racial perks in the game, especially Drow. Dwarves, Gnomes, and Halflings are last because of course they are, no one appreciates short races as romance options.

Paladin is still the most popular class, but by a smaller margin. Surprisingly Fighter has leaped to third place when it was previously seventh. This is likely due to just how convenient Action Surge is.

Some fun facts include over 1.2 million characters have been transformed into wheels of cheese, 94% of players made a custom character, Gale is the most popular Origin Character, and more. You can check out the full infographics on the official Larian Studios Twitter account here.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available now on Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, and soon on Xbox.
