Bad News Vita Fans – Tearaway Unfolded was Announced for Playstation 4

Media Molecule announced at Sony’s conference today that they would be bringing Tearaway to PS4 in the form of Tearaway Unfolded. However, knowing that Tearaway’s systems required the Vita’s front and back touch screens to function, they decided they would redesign the entire game to work with the PS4 controller.

During their presentation, they showed off a few of the new features. One allowed the messenger to throw animals and objects out of the game and into your controller, which you can then throw back into the game to hit things.

Another feature is the ability to swipe the touch pad to create wind. This was used during their presentation to do things. First, it split a large body of water for the messenger to pass through. Second, it allowed the messenger to make a paper airplane and fly. They said that they have expanded the world a lot, and with the addition of flying, I’m willing to bet there will be tons of new stuff to explore and play with.

I'm a pretty chill guy. Huge video game fan, but a bigger anime fan. I also love to write - obviously.

Im not pissed, I didnt even want to play it when it was out for the vita. Besides considering that sales went nowhere, Im actualy not surprised at all that Somy is bringing it to their brand new PS4 which is in need of software.

Happy that PS4 gamers will be able to play Tearaway but, it’s ofc sad that Vita loses one of it’s great exclusives
