Honesty if the game didn’t have the weird electric tagging system for enemies I would buy a 3DS for these games because I loved Megaman Zero on the DS. Then Nintendo started popping out different models of the DS like a vending ball machine with the mechanism broken.

Still haven’t played it yet. I’m still playing Dragon Quest VII!

Even without the electricity, the game’s difficulty is a joke. It’s hardly a spiritual successor to MMZ.

Did they not bother to continue with the ranking system and exe skills on missions? Hell I forget what made me want to do the ridiculous things like kill with only the gun the whole storyline and hard mode itself but you would think they wouldn’t get rid of them in similar games since that is what gave it some replayability,

The rankings are still there. There are even challenges as well. If anything, the “side stuff” to do is more substantial than MMZ. I was primarily upset with how easy the game was, otherwise ASG is excellent. The gun + electricity mechanic is pretty well done.

Anyway, I found a hidden hard mode option and now I’m really fucking enjoying it tbh. I just wish skills were available in hard since they’re fun to use (perhaps with reduced damage).

Yeah that does suck in hard mode if you can’t use skills.
