Azur Lane: Crosswave Heads West in 2020

Idea Factory International has announced a western release for Azur Lane: Crosswave.

The Compile Heart and Felistella-developed 3D action-shooter is coming west on PlayStation for via both retail and the PlayStation Store, sometime in 2020. The game will featured Japanese voiceovers with English subtitles. The Japanese release is set for August 29th of this year.


Azur Lane: Crosswave is based on the smartphone game Azur Lane, which first launched in 2017. The new game uses Unreal Engine 4 to recreate the smartphone game’s characters, only now in bolder, cel-shaded 3D visuals.

The game takes place in a world where personified battleships from around the globe engage in side-scrolling shooter gameplay.
