Yostar has announced that their popular mobile gacha game, Azur Lane, will be getting a crossover event with Atelier Ryza 2.
This was first teased during their livestream event celebrating their 5th year anniversary, and was now confirmed via Twitter.
Little information was given beyond the teaser image, which shows a silhouette of Reisalin “Ryza” Stout, the titular character of Atelier Ryza 2. It’s not a surprise she will likely become a playable unit within Azur Lane for this event.
This is not the first time Azur Lane has done a collaboration event with other notable IPs. Some other examples include their crossovers with Dead or Alive and World of Warships.
However, the game is also not free from controversy with things such as the removal of characters in the Chinese version for being too lewd, or the removal of a voice actress after Chinese outcry from her visit to a Japanese war memorial shrine.
From the Atelier Ryza side, the titular character has garnered a lot of popularity ever since her joined the long list of heroines in the long running Atelier franchise. Many examples of her merchandising showcasing her “assets” are abundant.
Meanwhile, you should check out our review of Atelier Ryza 2 here – we highly recommend the game and Ryza’s thick thighs!
