Publisher CULT Games and developer Mossveil Studios announced AutoForge is leaving early access next year.

The 2D automation sandbox adventure game just released a “Forgotten Wilds” update bringing new biomes, automation tools and improved world generation. A new update will bring online multiplayer and a new+improved onboarding experience.

AutoForge entered early access back in March 2024 for for Windows PC (via Steam).

Inspired by legendary cult hits like Terraria and Factorio, AutoForge brings magic, exploration and narrative to the mix; the result is an automation sandbox experience worthy of countless late nights. With a strong commitment to Early Access development alongside its community, the game promises deep and infinitely satisfying automation gameplay combined with the absolute vibes only space cave spelunking can evoke. 

Play as Otto, a magical golem awakening in a world abandoned by the revered Wizards long ago. Seek out the land’s ancient masters and learn what has happened to them and the place they left behind.

Build an expansive automated factory reaching up to the sky and deep into the ground, unlock and explore regions of a vast world filled with wonder and danger, upgrade yourself with ancient technologies, and then defend it all from the unfriendly denizens of the world.
