Caffeine is a first-person sci-fi horror game, and it has finally gotten a release window.
The atmospheric horror game is set to launch sometime next month on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, just in time for Halloween. The game takes place on a space station in the near future where humans are hopelessly addicted to caffeine. What does this space station harvest? You guessed it: caffeine.
Featured above, you can view the latest footage for the Unreal Engine 4-powered game. The main thing worth pointing out is the game’s atmosphere, with SFX by Jonathan Wachoru – the lead sound designer on the game Outlast.
In the game you play as a young child who suddenly awakens in the seemingly derelict station, with your goal being to find out what happened to the crew. The game even supports the Oculus Rift on PC, and there’s a demo that you can download and try out on its official website.
