Gust have revealed Atelier Sophie, the latest game in their ongoing alchemy series.

The new game is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita, and it will be launching in Japan on September 25th. The game’s protagonist is the red-haired Sophie Noienmuller. Featured above, you can view the game’s debut trailer.

Japanese artist Noco designed Sophie, while she’s voiced by Yuuka Aisaka. Sophie is a girl who naturally loves alchemy, and maintains an atelier shop on the outskirts of town.

There’s also the character Prafta, an amnesiac with silver hair, who is designed by the artist Yuugen. She is voiced by Yuka Iguchi.

Finally, there’s a new “dollmake” feature that lets you customize the appearance of characters (like Prafta), including things like materials you synthesize, and various costumes.
