Throwback 3D arcade shooter Asura The Striker launches this month

Indie developer LeftOver announced a release date for Asura The Striker, their 3D action-shooter homage to classic 80s/90s arcade titles like Space Harrier.

Asura The Striker is set to launch on April 24th for Windows PC (via Steam) and will support English and Japanese languages.

A fast-paced, retro-inspired 3D shooting action game created as a heartfelt homage to arcade classics from the ’80s and ’90s.

You are ASURA, a humanoid combat weapon built to eliminate an alien invasion from space. Master high-speed shooting, powerful melee attacks, and time-bending slow motion mechanics.

  • Energy Shot – your rapid-fire ranged weapon
  • Shining Knuckle – a charged punch for devastating damage
  • Lightning Over Drive – slow down time and control the battlefield

Controls
