Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio and Team Asobi have announced Astro’s Playroom for PlayStation 5, and being pre-loaded on the console.

Details are scant at this time, but it appears the VR-focused Astro Bot series will continue to be a 3D platformer. From the PlayStation Blog we know that the game is pre-loaded on the PlayStation 5. This would mean the title is a PlayStation 5 launch title, and likely free.

Players will explore four worlds- each based around one of the console’s components, and “showcases innovative gameplay that taps into the new features of the PS5’s DualSense wireless controller.”
