Publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Quebec have announced Assassin’s Creed Shadows is getting a prequel manga ahead of the game’s big worldwide debut.

The new manga is titled Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Iga no Monogatari (Tale of Iga) and will be released in Japanese on Kodansha’s Young Magazine website the same day the game launches next month.

Details on the manga weren’t shared however it will be produced by artist Reguje, known for their “UEN” and “Change the World” manga series. Ubisoft said the manga will be released in English, though further info wasn’t shared.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set to launch on March 20th across Windows PC (via the Ubisoft Store), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Amazon Luna.
