Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed Codename RED, a previously rumored game set in feudal Japan.
Assassin’s Creed Codename RED is currently being developed by Ubisoft Quebec, with Creative Director Jonathan Dumont at the helm. Ubisoft notes the game is “the next evolution” of the Assassin’s Creed’s “open-world RPG design.”
The game will connect to Assassin’s Creed Codename INFINITY, the previously teased hub that will “connect players through different types of Assassin’s Creed experiences” both old and new, while also bringing back multiplayer with a standalone experience.
Further details weren’t confirmed.
