The futuristic open-world game ARK: Survival Evolved reveals its sixth Turkey Trial event to celebrate Thanksgiving Day.
From Tuesday, November 22nd through Wednesday, December 7th, players can hunt and carve genetically-mutated Super Turkeys.
The event has players set out on a large-scale scavenger hunt to find the both delicious and ruthless beasts. Players who manage to best the dangerous birds will be rewarded with Super Turkey Wishbones.
These wishbones can be used to craft various event-exclusive items like a Turkey Costume, Ugly Sweater Skins (developer’s words, not mine.) and Pilgrim Hats.
However, ARK players should not get too comfortable, because during their hunts they may end up prey to the doubly extinct DodoRex:
Courageous players can tame this feathered menace to expand their ever-growing arsenal of dinosaurs, however, a large amount of players and resources is needed to placate this beast.
The event also comes with temporary bonuses that differ from server to server:
- Official Servers: 3x XP, Harvesting, Taming, Breeding (imprint, maturation, hatch/gestation), 0.5x Mating Interval, and 1.5x Hexagon Rewards
- Small Tribe Servers: 4.5x XP, Harvesting, Taming, 4x Breeding (maturation, hatch/gestation), 4x Imprinting, 0.5x Mating Interval, and 1.5x Hexagon Rewards
- ARKpocalypse: 5x XP, Harvesting, Taming, Breeding (maturation, hatch/gestation), 5x Imprinting, 0.5x Mating Interval, and 1.5x Hexagon Rewards
- Conquest: 5x XP, Harvesting, Taming, Breeding (maturation, hatch/gestation), 5x Imprinting, 0.5x Mating Interval, and 1.5x Hexagon Rewards
ARK players should seize these bonuses to level up and breed as many dinosaurs as possible before the event ends.
