Studio Wildcard’s dinosaur-filled survival game, ARK: Survival Evolved, is finally getting a PlayStation 4 release.
The online-enabled game will launch for PlayStation 4 on December 6th. You’ll be able to buy the game via the ARK: Survivor’s Pack, which includes ARK: Survival Evolved, as well as its massive desert-themed expansion, ARK: Scorched Earth – both together for $54.99 USD.
Featured above, you can view a trailer of the game’s recent TEK Tier update, which adds endgame content in the game’s crafting system, rewarding hard-working players with sci-fi armor, weapons, structures and gear.
PlayStation 4 owners are getting exclusive contentin the form of a Bionic Giganotosaurus skin, and an entire Manticore armor set for both male and female characters.
ARK: Survival Evolved is currently available on Xbox One and PC.

November 30, 2016 at 2:07 pmIsn’t this game STILL in its early access stages? I swear I cant figure out whats worse: DLC/microtransactions or this?

November 30, 2016 at 2:27 pmI like dinosaurs, but I’m not a big fan of these survival type games. I wish we had a new Turok.

November 30, 2016 at 2:41 pmWait, how are they releasing this on PS4? it’s still early access and runs like crap on PC.

November 30, 2016 at 2:43 pmWell, ARK has both paid DLC and it’s still early access, so no need to figure it out, it’s got you covered on both points.

November 30, 2016 at 3:12 pmI had my doubts with the Scorched Earth expansion but now,
I get the feeling,
they’re milking it a little bit.

November 30, 2016 at 10:19 pmIIRC They promised 720p60 on the PS4 Pro which sounds about right for the game since it runs like shit regardless of hardware. People with Titan’s can’t get decent framerates on the game.

November 30, 2016 at 10:56 pmPeople on PS4 don’t buy this at all and just avoid it. With the game missing it’s release date twice now, Wild Card Studios treating their fans like shit and releasing dlc for a game that isn’t finished.
Just avoid it and get Subnautica that games deserves your money and wirh Unkown World’s treating their fans and game with respect.

November 30, 2016 at 11:25 pmThat is just funny. Not even out of early access on PC but they are releasing it on PS4 and giving exclusive content. Talk about hating your customers.

December 1, 2016 at 6:55 amHave all of you been living under a rock for the past 6 months? If any of you had bothered to even remotely keep tabs on the PS4 release, you would have seen that the game was supposed to be released in June, however Sony refused to release another unfinished game(the first being 7 Days to Die) so it kept being pushed back later in the year. Obviously something has changed seeing as they’re releasing it now. There’s also a video of a live stream showcasing the game running on a PS4(I’m assuming it’s a pro version) and from the looks of it, it runs quite smoothly with hardly any noticeable frame rate issues. I’m just sayin’ wait until release and see how it runs, then say what you need to say.
