Arcana Heart 3: Love Max is a sizeable update to the Examu developed original that launched on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2011. The series is known for its all female cast of fighters, the duality between characters and their arcana powers, and for some of its more risque character designs.

Now, the updated build is coming to both Playstation 3 and Vita on May 29th, as confirmed from several Japanese magazines this week. The Love Max version adds new moves, updated background environments, rebalanced and tweaked gameplay, training and survival modes, and lots more.

The game will retain the story mode of the original, while getting a new “After Story” scenario mode. Both modes have full voice over dialogue. The Love Max version will also come with network play that supports both ranked and player matches.
