Arcade1Up is Bringing Back The Simpsons Arcade, Pre-orders Start in July 2021

Arcade1Up is Bringing Back The Simpsons Arcade

Arcade1Up is bringing back the classic beat ’em up The Simpsons Arcade this summer, and pre-orders are kicking off in July.

The new cabinet based on the classic original The Simpsons Arcade comes in a similar size to Arcade1Up’s previous offerings, not a full cabinet but 3/4 the size of the original arcade cabinet.

Here’s some more glamour shots:

Like all other Arcade1Up cabinets, despite not being full size the new Simpsons Arcade cabinet will come with its own matching riser, a deck protector, and the classic artwork from the old cabinets you remember from all those years ago.

Originally released back in 1991 during the height of the popularity behind The Simpsons, the arcade game is a tribute to the shows first season, and has remained a staple in both modern and classic arcades in the west. The game was re-released on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network in 2021, but was later removed likely due to licensing issues.

Pre-orders for the new The Simpsons Arcade cabinet will go live on July 15 via the official Arcade1Up store and participating retailers.

While Arcade1Up is bringing back The Simpsons Arcade, the company is teasing future announcements for this year’s E3. We’ll keep you guys posted.
