We’ve learned the recently established Arc System Works America branch of the Japanese developer is going to handle the publishing duties for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle.

The news was confirmed via the company’s Japanese branch, where they clarify that their new American arm will handle the sales and publishing of the new crossover fighting game. This includes promotion, support, marketing, translation, and licensing.

We previously predicted their new American branch means they’ll move towards in-house translations and publishing, while they previously used Aksys Games – a third party translation and publishing studio.

The game’s currently confirmed roster includes: Noel Vermillion from BlazBlue, Chie Satonaka from Persona 4, and Waldstein from Under Night in-Birth Exe:Late, Rachel Allucard and Hazama from BlazBlue, and Weiss Schnee from RWBY, Yosuke Hanamura from Persona 4, Linne from Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late, Ragna the Bloodedge and Jin Kisaragi from BlazBlue, Yu Narukami from Persona 4, Ruby Rose from RWBY, and Hyde from Under Night In-Birth.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is launching sometime next year across PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch.
