Aquaplus has appointed a new CEO in the hopes of divvying up their game development and business growth, the company announced.
Since their beginnings, the company was run by president Naoya Shimokawa, who not only ran their game development business but also their business growth and management.
While Aquaplus has appointed a new CEO, the new company boss Minoru Noda is bringing decades of experience to the company via his previous tenure at companies like Kadokawa Content Game and Enterbrain.
As mentioned above, the goal with this new appointment is to have Noda manage their business goals and growth, while Shimokawa will shift all of his focus to their game development as the new COO.
Lastly, Aquaplus mentioned their goal moving forward is to push more business expansion and growth, as well as focusing more on worldwide releases.
