The indie simulator parody that has taken the gaming industry by storm ever since it was revealed, Goat Simulator, finally has a release date. Coffee Stain Games has confirmed that the game would be coming on April 1st.
The game is coming to PC via the Steam platform, although a Mac and Linux release may be possible, if the demand is great enough. Multiplayer is totally out of the question, however, as per the developers explanation:
“Goat Simulator would synchronise terribly in multiplayer. With multiplayer, we’d have to remove 90% of the physics, all destructible objects and a lot of our favorite features.”
Coffee Stain Games also mentioned the possibilities behind adding in Steam Workshop support, mostly due to the insanity that would follow if fans could make their own mods and levels.
