Apple Crumble is a new mystery thriller about saving your grandma from a killer

Apple Crumble

Duck Detective developer Happy Broccoli Games has announced Apple Crumble, a fully voiced mystery thriller that mixes family drama, suspense, and plenty of dark humor.

It’s your grandmother’s 84th birthday party, and one of the guests is planning to kill her. Your job is to figure out who before the celebration comes to a very unpleasant end.

You will explore your childhood home, reconnect with a dysfunctional family, gather clues, and decide who can actually be trusted.

The suspect list includes your grandmother, your stressed-out mother, your uncle going through a midlife crisis, a strange man hiding in your bedroom, and even yourself.

Unlike many modern mystery games, Apple Crumble is designed to be a short experience, lasting roughly 60 to 90 minutes.

The developers describe it as a twist-filled thriller inspired by works like Knives Out and MOUTHWASHING, suggesting players should expect plenty of surprises before the credits roll.

The game is currently planned to release on PC via Steam later in 2026.
