Another Shadowrun Kickstarter Planned For Next Month

With Harebrained Schemes announcing a new roguelike game not too long ago and the Director’s cut of Dragonfall having launched to rave reviews, the internet let out a collective gasp as it was revealed that they will be going back to Kickstarter to launch a new title in the Shadowrun series.

Unfortunately, that’s all we know at this time …

This hasn’t prevented fans from speculating. Could we get the Sega Genesis-style, open- world Shadowrun that many fans originally had hoped for? Or is it just new base campaigns and expansions?

You’ll know when we know, which should be in less than a month’s time.

I loved the art in Shadowrun Returns, as a fan of the pen & paper game. it felt like actually getting to play inside of 2nd or 3rd edition cover art. I also thought they did a good job translating the often very complex rules to a video game.
I wish that I had backed Shadowrun Returns.
I’ll be keeping a very close eye on the second campaign.

Woot! More Shadowrun for the win!

Both Shadowrun Returns and Dragonfall are awesome games. Can’t wait to see more!

Hopefully it’s the open world style. That game was very well done for its time.
