Square Enix and developer Wright Flyer Studios have announced a new Another Eden x Chrono Cross collab event, where the iconic and classic RPG is making a return.

It’s a tale of destinies dancing intertwined, a waltz to the dream of time’s ticking clock. Or a twisted mirage.

Destiny was about to quietly awaken once again. At that time, a new world emerges in a newly spun dream. Aldo and Feinne have disappeared, but there is another world.

And at the same time, as if guided by something, several shadows crossed dimensions and stepped into this land. A man with a beast-like appearance, a daughter of the moon, a young bndit girl, and a young boy destined to fight.

The dreams of the planet, the dreams of time… the two prayers intertwine, and the gods scoff. Love will be made to bleed, red and deep as the seas of hell.

• Serge – voice by Ashton Frank

Features

• New Game Plus – If you complete the crossover story, you can play from the beginning again and again by going to “New Game+” on the Symphony screen. There are many sub-events in the towns and other areas, which you can check via the event list button. You may be able to enjoy new discoveries and branching stories the second time around. Also, after unlocking “New Game+,” you can skip scenes you’ve already watched. Take this chance and play through all the events.
• Elements – Serge, Kid, and Harle can add skills by equipping “Elements.” Elements are obtained by playing Complex Dream, and can be equipped from the Elements section on the character details screen. You can equip up to four Elements that will be unlocked as the character’s level increases. Once you have equipped the Element, don’t forget to change the character’s skills on the skills screen. In addition, Serge, Kid, and Harle can each accumulate “power levels” during battle. They can accumulate power levels by using normal attacks and skills. The skills they learn with Elements become more effective according to how many power levels they’ve accumulated.
• Field Effects – Battles that occur in Complex Dream have “field effects” applied to them. When a specified type attack is performed by either an enemy or ally, the color inside the field effect changes from the inside out. It will apply a “type attack+” effect on all enemies and party members corresponding to the number of colors. You can check the type attack+ effect by selecting the Field Effect from the Status button. Type attack according to Field Effect: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Thunder, Shade, Crystal *Some special type attacks are excluded.
• Special Attacks with Aldo and New Allies – Coordinated techniques will be added for the following characters for Another Force Special Attacks:
  • Aldo, Serge, Kid
  • Aldo, Serge, Harle

  *The Special Attack activates after Another Force when the Another Force Gauge is filled to 100%

• Difficulty – In Complex Dream, you can set the difficulty level from the Symphony screen. You can change the difficulty even after you have started the crossover story.Playing on a higher difficulty will increase the level of the enemies that appear, but will also increase the amount of EXP, Git, and Token you can obtain.*Some strong enemies that are not directly involved in the crossover story will not have their levels changed by the difficulty.
• Boss Battle Rematch – At a certain location, which can be accessed after unlocking “New Game+,” you can have a rematch with the last boss from the crossover story at any time and at different difficulties. Each difficulty has its own completion reward.*The rewards for each difficulty are the same as in the story, so you can only receive them once for each difficulty level.
