Wright Flyer Studios have announced an Another Eden crossover event with Square Enix, with evidence pointing to it being Chrono Cross.
JRPG Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space will crossover with Square Enix, although it is unknown which IP it will be. However, there are hints in the thumbnail for the livestream announcement, but nothing is confirmed as of yet.
A livestream detailing the event and other upcoming Another Eden content can be seen on YouTube on December 4th at 1:00 a.m. PST (4:00 a.m. EST). Guests confirmed to appear are the Another Eden Community Manager along with development staff Masato Kato (Scenario Writer, Director), Daisuke Takeshima (Director), Takahito Exa (Art Director), and Shinwoo Choi (Character Designer).
The collaboration website states the following:
“The beginning, since lost to oblivion…
A memory now nothing but a faded echo.
Time stopped for me then.
A soul with no place, I became a petal on the wind.
Until suddenly, a clock long since broken
carefully and quietly began to move…
And with it, something started anew in you.
Our future, our tomorrow…
Beckoned forth…
By familiar voices from beyond the dark…”
The use of a clock also may suggest Chrono Cross. Recently, Chrono Cross Remastered was rumored to be announced, thanks to the Nvidia leaks, and comments from folk singer Ava and XboxEra co-founder Nick Baker. Data-miners on Reddit also claimed to have found file names that made the crossover with Chrono Cross all but certain.
Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is available and free-to-play on Windows PC (via Steam), Android, and iOS.
