Publisher Nintendo has released a new playable demo for Another Code: Recollection, their cult classic HD remake.
Here’s a rundown on the demo, plus a new trailer:
The demo features the starting chapter of Another Code: Two Memories, the first of two stories in Another Code: Recollection. (Fans of the Nintendo DS system may remember this refreshed adventure by another name: Trace Memory!)
In the demo, you’ll join Ashley – a young orphan – after she receives a letter from her father who she believed was dead. The letter sets off a chain of mysteries and leads her to the mysterious and remote Blood Edward Island in search of answers. Follow the beginning of her story and start your exploration, then carry your progress over to the full game once purchased. You may catch a glimpse of the puzzling obstacles you’ll come across – but who, or what will you encounter on the other side?
Another Code: Recollection features two enhanced mystery adventures – including the sequel that was previously unreleased in North America. Uncover the past and find the hidden truth across both games, featuring overhauled visuals, fully explorable environments, new voice acting, puzzles and music. Optional hint and navigation systems have also been added to help players who might be new to adventure games.
