Aniplex and Toonami Begin Streaming English Dub for Demon Slayer, Cast Revealed

Aniplex began streaming the English dub of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba on October 12th, also revealing the English dub cast. A broadcast is also planned for Toonami on the same day.

With Voice Directing by Steve Staley, the following have been confirmed from the above trailer:

  • Abby Trott (Nezuko Kamado)
  • Aleks Le (Zenitsu Agatsuma)
  • Bryce Papenbrook (Inosuke Hashibira)

It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.

Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.

The English dub will also broadcast via Adult Swim during the Toonami block on October 12th

The series originally premiered in Japan on April 6th, and was streamed with English subtitles on Crunchyroll, FunimationNow, and Hulu.

In other recent news, the series is getting a sequel movie, and even a line of perfumes and colognes.
