Nintendo has announced they’ll be offering a paid subscription service for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
The new subscription service will be available on November 21st, 2019, and will let users sign up for a monthly fee to get bonus features in the game.
Details are scant, however Nintendo is saying users can get fortune cookies (their version of loot boxes) and access to warehouses if they subscribe. There will also be a “Camp Caretaker” feature, which lets you pick your favorite animal to be the literal caretaker of your campsite.
This is the second Nintendo smartphone game to offer a paid subscription model, after Mario Kart Tour and its $4.99 a month plan to get extra bonuses.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has been available for Android and Apple iOS devices.
