Anima: Gate of Memories is an action RPG that had a successful Kickstarter back in January of this year. The campaign raised over $110,000 dollars, and they’re at it again with a second, extended Kickstarter for that little extra funding.
They’re seeking an extra £15,000 to unlock lots of new features, including more skill trees, new dialogue, new cutscenes, more weapons and, most notably, the entire game will get voice dialogue.
The game is set in the same world as the Anima: Beyond Fantasy franchise, and the story is penned by the same talented folk behind the Beyond Fantasy roleplaying game novels. In Anima, you can switch between two playable characters, each with their own unique fighting style and characteristics.
“With the whole basis of the game done, we plan to use these additional funds to design new scenarios, new enemies and Messengers to face, as well as improving the soundtrack and voice effects; ultimately, to make an even better gaming experience,” the team at Anima Project Studio elaborates.
Anima: Gate of Memories is currently in development for PC, Mac and Linux, with Wii U, Xbox One and PS4 versions coming later.
