Android 17 DLC Character Announced for Dragon Ball FighterZ

The latest V-Jump magazine (via Ryokutya2089) has confirmed yet another post-launch downloadable character for Dragon Ball FighterZ.

The villain Android 17 will be added to the game as a paid DLC character sometime later this month. A price point is set at $4.99 / 500 yen.

His special moves include a “Barrier Explosion” technique that surrounds his body with energy prior to launching forward (this can also be used in the air), an “End Game” technique that allows him to quickly go behind his enemy and viciously attack them, and his “Super Electric Strike” meteor attack, which lets him build up energy in his hands and then launch it for great damage.

A free update for the game was also confirmed alongside Android 17. It brings with it the new “Space Arena.”

Dragon Ball FighterZ  is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In case you missed it, you can find our review for the game here (we highly recommend it!). The Nintendo Switch port for the game is planned for a release on September 27th in Japan and on September 28th in North America and Europe.
