AMD has announced their newest CPUs which will continue using their 3D V-cache technology.
While their previous generation only had the Ryzen 7 5800X3D as the lone option with this technology, the company revealed that it’ll be coming to AMD’s top end stack with the Ryzen 9 7950X3D.
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D will have 104MB of cache, a boosted clock speed of 5GHz, all at a TDP of 120 watts. They claim it will have a performance uplift of between 21% to 30% compare to the previous generation.
Meanwhile, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D will have 140MB of total cache, a boost clock of 5.6 GHz, while also sporting a TDP of 120 watts for the 16 core CPU.
They will be coming to retail sometime in February 2023 and will be bundled with the upcoming Star Wars: Jedi Survivor. This will also be around the same time as the rest of AMD’s lower end model for their current gen 7000 series Ryzen CPU lineup comes out.
