AMD has announced mobile variants of their RDNA30-based GPU lineup at CES 2023.
The four announced today at the annual trade show were the RX 7700S, RX 7600S, RX 7600M, and the RX 7600M XT.
They all come with 8GB of GDDR6 memory and either have 28 or 32 compute units depending on model. They run with a TDP that ranges from as low as 50 watts up to 120 watts.
According to AMD, they all will have expected uplift compared to their predecessors in the 6000 series, and also beat out comparable last gen Nvidia mobile GPUs as well. Users will have to wait until Nvidia reveals their competing lineup to see a more relevant comparison.
The GPUs are confirmed to be featured in laptops like the Alienware m16 and m18, Asus TUF Gaming A16, and Emdoor AXP970 and AG958P. These will be the first RDNA3 based laptops with “AMD Advantage” and all are expected to launch sometime in February 2023.
