Alwa’s Awakening Heads to NES in 2021

Elden Pixels have announced Metroidvania Alwa’s Awakening will be heading to the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).

The game is currently available on Windows PC, Mac, Linux (all via GOG, and Steam), and Nintendo Switch. Now the game will be heading to NES in 2021, complete with a cartridge and manual. The game will be published by Retro-bit on that system, and is being designed by Brad “rainwarrior” Smith (who created the modern NES game Lizard) to fit the restraints of the console.
